Gratitude is a powerful way to spread happiness. During our hour session, we will reflect on individuals who have affected your life. You might choose to write someone who did something for you years ago, and you haven't thanked them. We will think about how they've enriched your life.
Those who express gratitude in writing can improve psychological well-being, working memory, sleep, immune system function, relationship, and coping with emotional upheavals.
In addition to the letter, we will ask you to add to our "I am grateful" board. This board will allow the Whitney Community to write down things they are grateful for and will be posted in Clemens Hall after the presentation and can be continued to add to during the month of December.
