ACT on Alzheimer's - Vision and Dementia
Thursday, April 8, 2021
Research increasingly links vision impairment to the risk for dementia, but there are limited long-term studies that evaluate this association. Declines in hearing or vision have been linked to dementia in the past, but combined losses in these two senses are associated with a greater risk of both dementia and Alzheimer's — even if the impairment to both senses is relatively minor. This month learn more about the importance of eye health and possible risks associated with vision loss.
