2015 Annual Meeting I Nov. 15-18 I Minneapolis, MN

The 2015 Annual Meeting offers a unique opportunity as ASA, CSSA, and SSSA co-locate with the Entomological Society of America (ESA) to connect more than 7,000 scientists, professionals, educators, and students. Events take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center and surrounding hotels.

Registration will gain you access to symposia and technical sessions from all four Societies. Other benefits include a larger exhibit hall, more networking opportunities, and collaborative sessions that demonstrate the 2015 Annual Meeting theme, Synergy in Science: Partnering for Solutions.

2015 Metro Summit for Lake & River Groups

This year’s theme: How can lake and river groups work most effectively to address water resource issues?

There are many community groups across the Twin Cities dedicated to protecting and improving the lake or river they care about. Whether they are lake associations, homeowners associations, neighborhood associations, or even groups of neighbors pitching in, the metro area is lucky to have so many residents taking an active role. However, for those just starting off or looking to reinvigorate their group, figuring out the first step or next step can be daunting.

The Metro Summit for Lake and River Groups aims to give community groups the tools and knowledge they need to make a real impact on the water they care about. The Summit is also a great time to connect and network with other groups engaging in this work so we can learn from each other and work together.

This year’s Summit will focus on what residents can do–above and below the surface–to improve water quality.
