Please be advised that beginning on Monday, September 30, 2013, milling and paving operations will commence on 9th/10th Avenue North from 15th Street North to West St. Germain Street. This work will require that lanes be intermittently closed and that traffic be reduced to one lane in each direction. Flagging operations will be used that will further reduce traffic to one lane for both directions. Additionally, non-signalized intersecting side streets will be temporarily closed. Signalized intersection(s) will be intermittently closed for short durations when milling and paving operations are being performed in respective intersection(s).
Through traffic will be maintained, but motorists can expect major traffic delays and are advised to find an alternate route if possible.
It is anticipated that this mill and overlay project will be complete by the end of that week, weather permitting.
