[ARCHIVED] Only Rain Down the Storm Drain

Illustrated raindrops over stormdrain, text saying "...Only Rain... Down the Storm Drain"

Help keep local waterways clean!

City storm drains do not clean water, they convey water to local rivers, wetlands and waterways. Some stormwater passes through ponds or underground systems, but this only offers very limited treatment to a very small percentage of the stormwater that falls.

Pet waste, yard waste, motor oil, and garbage do not belong in storm drains. Help protect waterways by reporting any known or suspected dumping into a storm drain.

Please report concerns to stormwater@ci.stcloud.mn.us or fill out the reporting form.

For immediate assistance and reporting, please call 320-650-2900 during regular business hours, and St. Cloud Police Department NON-EMERGENCY line after hours; 320-251-1200.

You can help keep storm drains clean by picking up after pets, properly disposing of motor oil, and sweeping up yard waste and sediment from paved surfaces.
