Happy Drinking Water Week

St. Cloud Public Utilities is celebrating Drinking Water Week by recognizing the vital role tap water plays in daily life and the critical work that water professionals accomplish around the clock. St. Cloud Public Utilities has a dedicated staff of 37 water professionals that make sure your drinking water is safe, clean and great tasting! Free materials for download and additional information about Drinking Water Week are available on the Drinking Water Week webpage.

 Safe Water is Vital

Many communities, including St. Cloud, are fortunate to have reliable access to safe water when they turn on the tap. Whether it’s to cool off after a workout or clean fruits and veggies for a snack, your drinking water is there when you need it. Staff are at your water utility 24/7/365 to make that happen.

"Access to clean, safe drinking water is vital to our daily health, hygiene and hydration," said American Water Works Association CEO David LaFrance. "Professionals in the water sector work tirelessly to ensure we have affordable access to the high-quality water we need to strengthen our everyday life and broader communities today and in the future."

To commemorate the week, water utilities, water organizations, government entities, environmental advocates, schools and others throughout North America and beyond are encouraging consumers to learn more about the importance of water services and water infrastructure.
