Are you ready for severe weather? Severe Weather Awareness Week (SWAW) in Minnesota is designed to refresh, remind and educate everyone about the seasonal threats from severe weather and how to avoid them. It's also a great time to make and practice your emergency plan and build or refresh your emergency preparedness kit.

Monday (12th) : Alerts and Warnings
Tuesday (13th): Severe Weather, Lightning, and Hail
Wednesday (14th): Floods
Thursday (15th): Tornadoes (Statewide Tornado Drills)
On Thursday the 15th of April the State of Minnesota will be participating in two tornado drills, the first sounding at 1:45 pm and the second on sounding at 6:45 pm. Please, consider participating and getting family, friends and coworkers to participate with you!
Friday (16th): Extreme Heat
