This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 5th. Wilson Avenue will close from Highway 23 to East St. Germain Street during construction. Detours will be posted and access to local residents and businesses will be provided.

After removal of roadway surfaces such as concrete and bituminous items, underground utility work will begin. Substantial completion of the project and the roadway open to traffic is anticipated by the end of October, weather permitting. 

Wilson Avenue Project Beginning Soon!

Construction on the Wilson Avenue Improvements will begin this summer. 

• Project Scope – Replacement of underground utilities and surface improvements from Highway 23 to just past 1st Street Northeast.
• Construction Start/End Date – June 2023 to October 2023.
