Yard Waste Disposal
St. Cloud uses a volume-based yard waste collection system. All of the yard waste collected by the City is composted. Yard waste is picked on Mondays throughout the City, spring - fall. Yard waste is scheduled to begin on April 3, 2023 and end on November 20, 2023 (weather permitting).
There will be NO yard waste pickup on the following Mondays:
- Monday, April 10, 2023
- Monday, May 29, 2023
- Monday, September 4, 2023
Refuse and recycling customers are required to use specially marked "City" bags for yard waste. Yard waste bags are clear compostable bags with the City logo imprinted on them.
The cost for yard waste service is $1.25 per City yard waste bag (sold in quantities of 10; cost $12.50 per package) Bags are 30 gallons in capacity. No bags other than specially marked "City" bags will be picked up. Only purchase bags as needed due to the shelf-life of compostable bags.
