construction debris annually. You may be responsible for any liability that
results from contamination at a facility where your waste has been deposited.
Minnesota believes that its waste management system provides substantially more
financial and environmental protection than depositing waste in landfills in

Waste Systems of North America – Minden Transfer, MPCA Permit #SW-588, 245 35th
Avenue SE, St. Cloud, MN 56304. From there it is taken to:
1. Pine Bend Landfill, 2495 E 117th Street, Inver
Grove Heights, MN 55077, a primary facility for mixed solid waste. MPCA Permit
#SW-45. Approximately 40 percent of the City’s total municipal solid waste is
deposited at this facility.
2. Pope/Douglas Solid Waste Management – Waste-to-Energy
Facility, 2115 Jefferson Street, Alexandria, MN 56308, an alternate facility
for mixed solid waste. MPCA permit #04100021-003. Approximately 60 percent of
the City’s total municipal solid waste is deposited at this facility.
