A hybrid of badminton, tennis, and table-tennis pickleball is a 3-in-1 game, played with wooden paddles and a perforated plastic ball in a normal Badminton court or on any hard surface with a 3-foot net. Want to learn how to play? During pickleball classes, we will focus on developing basic skills, reviewing rules and regulations and implementing them into game situations. We will cover skills such as ball control, forehand/backhand drive, drive/lob serve, forehand/backhand lob, smash, and game strategy.
New! This intermediate class will focus on game strategy: shot selection, court awareness and positioning as well as communicating and teamwork. Format will be interactive with the instructor to illustrate strategies and incorporate drills to reinforce the concepts taught. Maximum 3 participants per session; Strategies and Skills class require an intermediate skill level of play.
