Neighborhood Watch Program

Neighborhood Watch is a collaborative effort between the citizens of St. Cloud and the St. Cloud Police Department to prevent and reduce crime in neighborhoods across the city.

It works to lower crime rates as it focuses on:

  • Crime Prevention Training
  • Victim Assistance
  • Communication and unity between neighbors
  • Visible improvements and collaborative care

To be an established and recognized Neighborhood Watch group, you must have at least 50% of your block interested in being involved and host at least two meetings per year. The State of Minnesota recommends that one of the meetings be formal and the second one be the social gathering that is National Night Out that is celebrated across the county.

These documents can help you start the conversation with your neighbors about taking the first steps in a united community against crime.
