Winters in Minnesota result in a lot of snow and the need for snow removal. To facilitate snow removal, St. Cloud has three different winter parking regulations. Be sure to understand these regulations to avoid receiving a parking ticket.
What does a Snow Emergency mean? Click here for more information. During a Snow Emergency, any vehicle in violation of any parking restriction will be ticketed and immediately towed at the owner’s expense.
This restriction is often referred to as Odd/Even Parking and is in effect from November 1st - April 1st. The violations take place between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. regardless of snowfall.
If you live in the area immediately surrounding St. Cloud State University, you must obey the signs that are posted in the area year-round.
