RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A
MISSION STATEMENT
AND CORE VALUES
FOR THE CITY OF ST. CLOUD, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, St. Cloud City Council members participated in a City Council retreat on February 18 and 19, 2000; and

WHEREAS, the Council agreed to identify the City of St. Cloud’s mission and core values.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLOUD THAT:

1. The Mission Statement for the City of St. Cloud is as follows:
   
   The mission of the City of St. Cloud is to provide high quality public services for our residents in a cost effective, responsive, innovative and professional manner given the changing needs and resources available.
   
   
2. The following Core Values have also been established for the City of St. Cloud:
   1. Excellence and quality in delivery of services
   2. Fiscal responsibility
   3. Ethics and integrity
   4. Treating the resident as a customer
   5. Visionary leadership and planning
   6. Respect for (the) each individual
   7. Dedication and commitment
