The St. Cloud Police Reserve Program is accepting applications for new members. Police Reserves are community-oriented individuals who assist licensed police officers in providing police services to the community. The Reserve Program is comprised of 25 community members that volunteer their time assisting licensed St. Cloud Police Officers in the performance of their duties. Each member is expected to attend one monthly training meeting and volunteer a minimum of 8 hours of duty time per month. Police Reserves receive annual training on self-defense, handcuffing, Taser & firearms use, traffic control and other police focus areas.
Applicants must be over 18-years old, must be a US citizen or have a work visa and must have a valid drivers license. All selected applicants will be required to submit documentation from their personal physician stating that they are in good physical condition to perform the duties associated with police work.
