What do you get when you combine tennis, badminton, and ping-pong? Only the greatest game ever named after a dog: pickleball! A hybrid of badminton, tennis, and table-tennis pickleball is a 3-in-1 game, played with wooden paddles and a perforated plastic ball in a normal Badminton court or on any hard surface with a 3-foot net. It's an exciting way for people of all ages to stay active and to meet new people!
We offer 6 indoor Pickleball courts at Whitney Recreation Center; cost is $3.25 (plus tax) per session, or 20 pass punch cards are available for $50.00 plus tax. And, seasonally, check out our outdoor courts at Calvary Hill Park!

Ladder Pickleball League
Men’s, Women’s, mixed doubles – players of all skill levels are invited to test their fate in Whitney Recreation Center's Ladder Pickleball League. Move up or down the ladder based on your play! Co-Sponsored by the Northern Paddles, league play begins Thursday, April 6th at 5:30 p.m.
Limit of 12 teams - all teams will play at once.
Sign up as a team for the entire 8 weeks. Teams can be men's, women's, or mixed. All skill levels welcome.
Play will be Thursday evenings, 5:30-9pm.
Each match will consist of best 3 of 5 games to 11 points. Teams will move up or down the ladder accordingly.
Open play with be available for league players after matches are completed.
Cost will be $25 per person for the entire session (you will not need to punch in each time)
Teams will be allowed up to 3 substitutions per session. Matches will be forfeited by further substitutions.
Register in person at the Whitney Recreation Center Gym Desk; registration is first come/first served.
